Pipedrive Integration Guide
Connect Pipedrive to export event leads as People. Map your fields, review matches, and keep companies connected to the right records.
Before you start
With permission to connect apps and export people
With at least one event set up
Email and company details are especially helpful here
Set them up ahead of time if you want to map extra event data
Setting it up
1. Navigate to Integrations
Log in, open your event, then go to 'Integrations' in the sidebar. You'll see the Pipedrive card there.
2. Connect your account
Click "Connect to Pipedrive" and you'll be taken to Pipedrive to approve the connection. Once you confirm, you'll come right back to Intelevents.
Quick note:
This connection gives Intelevents the access it needs to work with People, Organizations, and the fields used during export.
3. You're connected
After authorizing, your Pipedrive integration is ready to use and you can open the export wizard anytime.
Using the integration
People and organizations
Intelevents exports your event records into Pipedrive as People. If you map company information, those people can also be linked to the right Organization.
That gives your team a cleaner picture of who someone is and where they belong.
Auto Sync
Auto Sync creates new Pipedrive People automatically as event leads are captured. Set it up once and walk away—every lead from your booth flows into Pipedrive in the background.
To turn it on:
- Open the Pipedrive card and click "Auto Sync."
- Map your event lead fields to Pipedrive fields (Email is required).
- Click "Save & Enable Auto Sync."
The card will show "Auto Sync Active" with the latest run time.
Exporting leads
The export wizard helps you choose the right people, review what is already in Pipedrive, map your fields, and send everything over with confidence.
Select Records
Leads are grouped by email so repeat scans stay together. We check whether each person is already in Pipedrive, then let you review matches before exporting.
Field Mapping
Match your Intelevents fields to Pipedrive person fields. Email, name, and organization are a great place to start.
Review & Export
Before anything is sent, you get a final summary of new people, records you'll skip, and records you'll overwrite.
Field mapping
This is where you decide how your event data should land in Pipedrive. Standard fields like email, first name, last name, and company are easy starting points, and custom fields can hold scanner details, survey answers, or other event-specific notes.
Pro tip: If you want people connected to organizations, make sure your company field is mapped before you export.
Things to watch out for
Existing people
If a person is already in Pipedrive, you can review the match before exporting and choose whether to skip it or overwrite it. That helps keep your CRM tidy without asking you to start from scratch.
Missing or multiple matches
Email is the clearest way to match records. If a lead has no email, or Pipedrive finds more than one possible match, we'll skip it instead of guessing.
Organization links
If company data matters to your team, be sure that field is mapped. That's what helps keep people connected to the right organizations in Pipedrive.
Auto Sync and duplicates
If a person already exists in Pipedrive by email, Auto Sync skips them—existing records are never overwritten. Use Manual Export if you need to update existing records.
Editing Auto Sync settings
While Auto Sync is on, the field mapping is locked. Disable it first, make your changes, then re-enable.
